“A Time for Everything”

10 years ago I was commissioned by a financial advisor named Greg to paint a Princess Mural for his Daughter in their Home.On the second day of production at 8.00am I arrived at Greg’s house after he greeted me he asked me to go have a seat in the kitchen so we could talk. As I sat there for two minutes I began to think ,what does he want to talk to me about ?Greg sat down next to me and handed me a calculator and a pen & paper .”Shane the average person lives to the age of 85 ,how many days are in a year ?” 365 days I replied. “Please multiply 85 X 365 and write down the answer.” 31,025 days “This is the amount of days in 85 years” My draw dropped and my heart began to beat faster,I was in my early twenties at the time feeling invincible with a long time to live ahead of me.He then had me multiply my current age by 365 and subtract it from 31,025. Today I’m writing this at the age of 33 I have lived 12,045 days so I have only 18,980 days left if I was to live to the Age of 85. After I picked my jaw up off the floor Greg began to teach me about Time management to achieve financial freedom. He taught me to be intentional and wise in the way I choose to spend my time,so that I can enjoy more time with my family and friends investing time and energy in what matters most.

Time & Energy: Each day we have 24 hours (86,400 seconds) and a certain amount of natural energy .Everything you think, speak and do takes time & energy once it is used it is gone forever. One of the most important decisions you make in everyday life is how to use your time & energy !A great way to express Love is by choosing to spend time & energy with someone of something. You can tell who and what a person Loves by the way they invest their Time.I believe that we must be a good steward with the time God gives us on Earth. So much to say no time to stay ! Love Everlasting,Shane

Psalm 90:12 (NIV)

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace
